Man Jumped Into Osun River, Body Yet To Recover

A yet to be identified middle-aged man on Thursday evening allegedly jumped into a popular Osun river in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, in an attempt to commit suicide.

According to our Correspondent, all efforts to rescue the man by the state Police and Fire fighters was proved abortive as his whereabout could not be ascertained inside the river.

Newsflash247 gathered that the man removed all the clothes on his body before he concluded to jumped into the river

The incident however called for the attention of mammoth crowd in the area as they stopped to catch a glimpse of the incident.

It was learnt that the man allegedly resorted to the action in an apparent suicide attempt.
