Bride collapses and dies on arriving altar on wedding day

Jessica Guedes, a 30-year-old was set to marry the love of her love, Lieutenant Flavio Gonçalvez in São Paulo, Brazil but barely made it to the altar on the wedding day while her groom was waiting for her to exchange marital vows.

Newsflash247 gathered that Jessica Guedes was pregnant and worked as a nurse collapsed in the vehicle transporting her to the wedding venue.

Family and friends initially thought she was overwhelmed with wedding day nerves and so, when she complained of neck pains before collapsing, they didn’t think it was so complicated.

It became apparent that the pregnant bride was suffering from Preeclampsia – a condition which is reported to be mostly unnoticed in pregnant women or women who are new mothers.

According to the doctor, Guedes was pronounced brain dead just few minutes after she was taken to the hospital, leaving her groom and family members heartbroken.

The groom who had been waiting for his wife at the altar was alerted when he started inquiring the reason for the delay. As he was informed of his wife’s state, he rushed to the car to see her struggling to stay alive.

Reports state that she opened her eyes and told him she felt pains in her neck and he proceeded to provide some first aid care before she was rushed to the hospital, where she eventually died of stroke.

Jessica was set to marry firefighter Flavio Goncalvez, who was waiting for his bride at the altar.

According to the medical report, the pregnant bride suffered stroke due to preeclampsia and internal bleeding and it required the doctors to perform an emergency cesarean section to save her 29-week-old baby.

The bride was declared brain dead while the operation was carried out and she died after the baby was removed from her.

Guedes left the world on her wedding day but she left new baby Sophia for her groom who is now a father and a widower at the same time.
