Police Seek Public Help to Find Missing Man in Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command has appealed to the public to assist in locating a 30-year-old man, Mr. Joseph Anifowose, who has been missing since November 6.

According to a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abutu Sunday, on Tuesday, Anifowose left his home at Lane 6, Wonder City College, Ado-Ekiti, around 8 a.m. on Friday to watch a football match at an undisclosed viewing centre and never returned.

The statement described Anifowose as a dark-skinned man, six feet tall, fluent in Yoruba and English languages, and without any tribal marks.

The command said it had launched an investigation to trace his whereabouts and urged anyone with useful information to contact the nearest police station or call 09064050086.

The statement also advised the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement or activity to the police, as part of the efforts to ensure the security of lives and property in the state.
