Buhari sends message to General T.Y Danjuma

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has felicitated with the former Minister of Defence, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (Rtd) on his 83rd birthday.

T.Y Danjuma turns 83 on today, December 9, 2020, and Buhari congratulated him for a life of service that has brought honour and goodwill to the country.

A statement signed by Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu , on Wednesday said that Buhari thanked General Danjuma, for his lifetime devotion to humanitarian causes and kindness to the less privileged in the society.

“Buhari recounts General Danjuma’s record of service and dedication to the Nigerian Armed Forces as well as many other fields of endeavour in the country

He “thanking him for his lifetime devotion to humanitarian causes and kindness to the less privileged in the society.”

Buhari prayed the almighty God to sustain the elder statesman with health and happiness in the years ahead.
