BBNaija season 6: I came into BBNaija to represent the North – Yousef

In the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, one of the evicted housemates of the shine Ya Eye, Yousef, stated that he came into the show to represent the North.

Newsflash Nigeria had earlier reported that Youself evicted last Sunday, September 19 from the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ house during the live eviction show after garnering the lowest votes for the week.

Yusuf Garba who prefers to be called Yousef is a high school teacher, model and trainer.

Yousef had earlier hinted that he was on the show to make friends and also meet the love of his life.

But in a PUNCH Live interview on Wednesday, following his eviction from the show on Sunday.

Speaking on his motive for coming to the show, Yousef mentioned that Northerners had not been fully represented on the show hence his decision.

Yousef said, “What pushed me was that a lot of people from the North haven’t really been represented in the show. So I just wanted to make history in the entertainment industry. I wanted it as much as possible.

“I just wanted to make history. I just wanted to go to BBNaija as it’s the biggest platform for any youth out there.

“It was going to change my life and at that moment, things were not going well at home. I was just looking for that dream.”

According to him, he made an impact on the show even if he didn’t make it to the final.

“I think a lot of people started watching the show from that part of the North. They were watching the show because of me and I was surprised,’ Yousef said.

He added, “Big brother is the biggest platform all over Africa. It’s a place where anybody can make their dreams come through. Big Brother has changed my life from nothing to something.

“BBNaija is a place you can go as far as possible. You can skyrocket from one night to two months. Big Brother has changed my life in just two months.”
