VIDEO: Nigerians Beat Ex-Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu In Germany

Ike Ekweremadu, former deputy Senate President, was allegedly attacked by some Nigerians at an event in Nuremberg, Germany.

In a video circulating on social media, Ekweremadu was being attacked by over five people who held his cloth and dragged him out of the event.

The lawmaker was later whisked away in a car after several attempts to stop him from escaping.

In the video, one of the attackers was heard saying “imagine, people are dying on a daily basis, people are wailing on a daily basis and we are here enjoying.”

The video indicates that a rowdy session erupted at a meeting attended by Igbos in the country, which the former Deputy Senate President had attempted to attend.

Although the reason for the attack is yet to be ascertained, a video trending online shows the IPOB members throwing stones at Ekweremadu.

The PDP Senator could be seen in the video being whisked away in an ash saloon car after it appeared his presence was not welcomed at the meeting.

Also in the video, one of the attackers was heard saying “imagine, people are dying on a daily basis, people are wailing on a daily basis and we are here enjoying.”
