How to Access the TETFUND’s BIMS Platform: A Guide for Nigerian Students and Lecturers

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has launched a new platform called the Beneficiary Identity Management Service (BIMS) to improve the identification and management of students and lecturers across Nigerian educational institutions.

The BIMS platform is part of the Tertiary Education Research Applications and Services (TERAS) initiative, which aims to transform the Nigerian higher education sector by providing access to world-class and globally renowned educational resources.

According to the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, who spoke at an educational summit in Abuja, the BIMS platform will revolutionize the way students and lecturers access educational services and more. He said that the BIMS platform will serve as the gateway for accreditation and authorization to access the TERAS platform.

He said that the TERAS initiative has been carefully designed to integrate various essential components, with the BIMS platform being its core.
