“Engr. Segun Oni started free JAMB distribution to all students in Ekiti State some years back when he had not even contemplating of contesting for any position in the State. “It is therefore, imperative for the People especially well to do Individuals in the Society to emulate such good gesture started by Engr. Segun Oni by rising to the occasion to assist the indigent but brilliant Students in the State. The development, will give some hopless People in the Society hope and act responsibly” Falegan said.

The Philantropist assured the People of Ekiti State of the readiness of his foundation “Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation” ODF, to continue to put smiles on their faces through various empowerment programmes.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) had on Friday extend the deadline for the registration of 2021 UTME/DE exercise by two weeks.

JAMB took the decision after a meeting with stakeholders following reports of widespread delay in the registration process among candidates for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Commenting on the security challenge in the country, Falegan said , ” It is pathetic to see many young People engaging in the act of kidnapping, banditry, terrorism and hooliganism among others in Nigeria now.

“The rationale behind such act is because some of them could not further their education after completing their Senior Secondary School education. The development sometimes may not be unconnected with lack of little assistance to obtain JAMB forms or other requirements to seek admission into higher Institutions.

“Ekiti People are known world over for their education excellence, hence the need for all to join hands together to sustain the good image because of posterity”.

Posterity may not forgive us, if we continue to look other way when our youths are just roaming the street for lack of little assistance that can reshape their lives and make them become responsible citizens in the Society.
