Presidency Set To Sack INEC Chairman

There are strong indications that the Presidency is set to Sack the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission , Yakubu Mahmoud for postponing the poll scheduled for Saturday February 16th 2019.

The Electoral Commission headed by Mr. Yakubu shifted the Poll for seven days citing Logistics and material problems.

It was gathered that the Presidency is not comfortable with the current INEC chair, whom it accused of having a hidden agenda and can no longer guarantee free, fair and credible Election and must give way.

The commission has been sharply criticized by both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) whose woefully performing Candidate, Mohammadu Buhari, facing imminent defeat in the poll, is running against a more vibrant People’s Democratic Party Candidate (PDP) Atiku Abubakar who has garnered enough public sympathy and stakeholders endorsement due to his Economic policy.

The poll has been moved to February 23rd and would be for The Presidency and National District
