PHOTOS: EFCC arrests 9 ‘Yahoo boys’, seizes exotic cars in Lagos

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office on Wednesday, February 5, have arrested nine suspected internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Boys in Lagos State.

According to the EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade, who made a statement on Wednesday, said the suspects were arrested on February 5, 2020 in Magodo Phase 1 Estate, Lagos.

Their arrest followed intelligence reports received about their criminal activities.

Orilade said items recovered from the suspects included exotic cars, laptop computers, telephones and several incriminating documents.

“The suspects will soon be charged to court,” the statement added.
