Some primary school pupils in Lagos State recited Nigeria’s National Anthem inside muddy water.

A viral video circulating on social media platforms, shows some primary school pupils reciting Nigeria’s National Anthem inside muddy water.

The pupils while in the flooded water, passionately recited the first and second stanza of the nation’s anthem before saying the national pledge.

The incident took place in Makoko, Yaba Area of Lagos state.

The video has been met with condemnation from different quarters.

As they recited the anthems and pledge, some adults believed to be their teachers could also be seen in the background.
