Enugu Woman Banished From Community For Cheating On Sick Husband

A woman in Iheakpu-Obollo Afor, Udenu Local Government Council of Enugu State, has been banished by her husband and his kinsmen for allegedly having affairs with other men.

The woman, identified as Martina, was accused of having extramarital affairs that caused her husband’s sickness.

According to a Facebook post by Senator Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, Martina had been unfaithful for a long time and had performed rituals to appease the land.

However, her husband, popularly known as Abisco in Ochisiri Iheakpu Obollo, and his relatives had enough and decided to banish her after they blamed her infidelity for his prolonged sickness.

The post read: “A woman has been ban!shed in Iheakpu #Obollo Afor in Udenu Local Government Council area, for notor!ous cheating on his husband.

“The news gathered that the said woman has been doing that for long time and had been appeasing (rituals) the land.

“The closest person to the family told us that the husband has been sick for long time due to the sacrilege of his wife, and it’s against the tradition of the LAND. The HUSBAND and UMUNNA joined to banish the woman.

“The woman’s name is Martina. Her husband name is popularly known as Abisco in Ochisiri Iheakpu Obollo,” a Facebook user, Senator Chijinkem Ugwuanyi wrote.
