BREAKING: Court Sacks APC Bauchi Reps-Elect

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has sacked the House of Representatives member-elect on the platform of the All Progressives Congress,APC, Tata Umar in Bauchi State.

Tata Umar( APC, Bauchi) represents Zaki Federal Constituency.

Newsflash247 gathered that some APC House of Representatives aspirants had challenged the primary election at the High Court, they prayed before the court to declare the ‘Kangaroo’ primary null and void.

The court ruled that the Bauchi APC did not duly hold a primary election in accordance with the law and was not entitled to participate in the Feb 23 general election, the court therefore ruled that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and its candidate got the highest lawful votes and ordered the
Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to present certificate of return to Awwal Mohammed Jatau as the duly and lawful elected MHR
