BBNaija Season 6: Names of 11 males Big Brother Naija “‘Shine Ya Eye”
Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season six has officially begun and this year’s season is tagged “Shine Ya Eye”.
This was announced by the host for the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the opening ceremony of the BBNaija season six.
The organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 6 have said that the N90m (£158,000) grand prize for the reality show is the highest ever in the history of the programme.
They also note that the reality show will be streaming in the United Kingdom for the first time ever.
Also, the organisers have announced that there would be no SMS voting this season as fans will have to vote via the web and on MyDStv and MYGOtv apps.
For the first time, viewers in the United Kingdom will enjoy the show live on African online streaming service, Showmax.
The special double launch show would continue on Sunday at the same time with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as the host.
Over the years, winners of the reality show have carted away millions of naira since the inaugural edition in 2006.
In the second season, the grand prize was N25 million and it was later increased to N45 million in the third edition.
The fourth season saw the winner, Mercy Eke, take home the N60 million among other perks.
The fan favourite, Laycon, who won season five, became N85 million richer.
This season, one lucky housemate would become N90 million richer when the show ends in 72 days.
The Big Brother Naija season six, Shine Ya Eye, begins on a high note as the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, took viewers on a tour around the house.
The colourful and exquisite rooms are set to house the BBNaija housemates for this season.
For the first time, the Housemates are provided with washing machines in the lodge.
There is also a game room and an exotic lounge for the Head of House.
Here are the Eleven male housemates for season 6 but Eleven females will be joining the show on Sunday.
(11) CROSS
Cross, 34 years, says he is adventurous, spontaneous, loves pretty women and clubbing.
He is bringing a lot of sexiness to the show and will love to see women fight for him.
He says his weekends begin on Thursday with him linking up with friends and clubbing.
He loves working out and drama.
(10) SAMMIE
Sammie is from Kaduna state. He is studying Guidance and Counselling at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is also a filmmaker.
He says he will be talking all through the 90 days.
He wants to have a huge twist in his life.
Sammie says he is bringing vibes into the house. He is going to enjoy himself.
(9) Emmanuel
Emmanuel is a 24-year- old model from Akwa-Ibom.
He loves travelling, driving fast cars, reading and doesn’t like hatred and envy.
He loves working out and he is competitive.
He won Mr Africa.
He says the viewers should expect a little drama from him. He says he is a hustler with the mind of a king.
He is single and might be open to having a relationship.
(8) JAYPAUL
The next Housemate is Jay Paul, 29.
He says he can cook, dance and makes movies. He is a TV presenter and a complete entertainer.
He is regarded as a playboy.
JayPaul says he loves to play a lot but does things when he makes up his mind.
He loves really hard but belongs to nobody and everybody.
(7) YERINS
Up next is Yerins, 27, from Bayelsa State. He is a medical doctor, musician and artist.
He says he is a Renaissance person and has an undying need for knowledge.
He says people think he is an introvert but he is open to his friends.
He loves to eat and will be bringing creativity, drama and craziness to the BBNaija house.
(6) NIYI
Niyi, 34, is from Oyo state. He says he is ambitious, spontaneous, ambitious and loves to dance.
He is married and has a three-year-old son.
He says viewers should expect a lot of positive energy from him.
He is a businessman and has an event company in Capetown, South Africa.
He says he is in the show to have fun and live the best moment of his life.
Niyi says his family is comfortable with him being in the BBNaija house.
(5) WHITE MONEY
White money is the next Housemate. He says he loves fun, entertainment and he doesn’t take life too seriously.
He doesn’t like dishonest people and he is bringing fire and entertainment to the house.
He says he is the reason people will subscribe because he is so talented.
He is also a businessman and loves to make people smile.
He said people will not fight with him but he will deal with people according to the vibe they bring.
(4) PERE
Next is Pere. He was born in Warri. He loves to sing and write songs. He is also an artist.
He says he is chilled and spontaneous. He loves to work out and doesn’t like lazy people.
He says he is bringing swag to the show and added that he is a drama king.
He says in his life there is always ‘gbasgbos’.
Pere is into real estate. He said the viewers should look forward to spontaneity and adventure from him.
(3) Yousef
Yousef is the next Housemate. He is a biracial Nigerian.
He is a teacher and model.
He says he loves to talk about himself all the time and loves looking good for the camera.
Yousef says he is bringing fun and entertainment.
Entertainment for him is just to be fun, expressive and be himself. He is soul mate searching.
He said his students have a crush on him.
The big cake for him is the N90m but standing on the BBNaija stage is a win for him.
(2) SAGA
The next Housemate is Saga. He is from Lagos state. He is an engineer, fitness coach, artist. His friends call him “woman wrapper”
Saga is 28 but he says he acts 18 years old in his head because he relates very well with younger people.
He plans to drop engineering and go into entertainment because he is passionate about the arts.
He said we should look forward to vibes from him in the house.
(1) Boma
Boma is the first Housemate to be called.
He grew up in Yaba. He is a mixologist, a footballer and a masseuse.
He said he is a lover boy and wants to be the “go-to-guy”.
Boma says he is single and ready to mingle.
