Lagos 2019: Ambode Defies All Odds, Submits Nomination Forms

Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has submitted his governorship nomination forms on Wednesday, September 12 in Abuja.

According to the Dele Momodu who took to his Twitter account revealed that Governor Ambode has submitted his nomination forms in Abuja.

Ambode picked his nomination and expression of interest forms at the  All Progressive Congress, APC headquarters in Abuja on Monday, September 10.

According to a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, the governor, while addressing residents and party faithful who gathered to witness his declaration in Alausa, Lagos on Monday, recalled how the journey began four years ago when he called on Lagosians to join him in a journey of selfless service to build a secure and prosperous state driven by a vibrant economy and supported by quality service, equity, and justice.

He said it was gratifying that the people believed in him and gave their support, adding that he remains undaunted and resolutely committed to achieving more for the state.

Meanwhile, the two of his political siblings, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, found to have also obtained the nomination forms by proxy are expected to submit their form on Thursday.
