Lady nabs man who tried to steal jewelry worth N1.6m from her store

A business woman and social media user identified as Cathrine Eleojo Apeh has shared CCTV footage exposing a man who is yet to be identified as he attempted to steal from her.

In the clip which is now making waves online, the unidentified man showed up at Apeh’s jewelry store to purchase goods, only to sneakily steal an item and get caught.

Apeh can be seen attending to the customer in the footage and when she turns her back, he immediately stretched to pick an item from the jewelry stand and hid it.

Luckily for Apeh, she said that she noticed something was missing and demanded he returned it.

The business woman said that the item he attempted to steal was worth N1.6 million and she is grateful that she had a discerning mind and caught him before he left the store.

She shared the footage on her social media page, advising business owners to be careful of such corporate thieves who pose as customers.
