House Of Reps Member Dumps APC

The member representing Mokwa/Edati/Lavun in Niger State, Honourable Ahmed Abu has defected to the Social Democratic Party, SDP.

According to the party, his name has been submitted to INEC as the party’s substitute candidate for Mokwa /Edati/ Lavun Federal Constituency.

SDP in a statement signed the National Publicity Secretary, Alfa Mohammed , said ,”Ahmed, who was until last week a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) in the House of Representatives, is the son of the late Captain Isah Mokwa, a very popular grassroots politician and political adviser to late Governor Kure, who once held the position of the Deputy State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party in Niger in 1993.

The young Ahmed, who has several constituency projects to his credit, schooled in Edinburgh in the UK after his Senior Secondary Education in Nigeria.
