The Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje has repeatedly denied collecting bribe from anyone despite the first, second, third, fourth and five videos that were released.
The state government went on to release five videos pointing out discrepancies in the purported video of the state governor, Umar Ganduje, allegedly receiving bribes from state contractors.
in fact, the fourth video has shown the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, allegedly receiving a whopping amount of dollars bills believed to be a bribe.
In the video, Ganduje could be seen receiving stacks of dollar bills while a voice was heard saying “so far, we have received a total of $145, 000.”
Meanwhile, a Kano High Court on Monday upheld its earlier order halting the state House of Assembly Investigative Committee from probing the bribery allegation against Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to the NAN reports that the court also ordered all other parties involved in the investigation of the bribery allegation to maintain status quo ante, pending the determination of the originating summon filed by Mohammed Zubair, the National Coordinator of Lawyers for Sustainable Democracy in Nigeria.
Now, another video has emerged and it shows the governor in another position, this time without his ‘Agbada’, receiving dollars from an unknown person.
