FG Declares Friday, Monday Public Holidays For Easter Celebration

The Nigerian Government on Wednesday declared Friday April 19 and Monday April 22, 2019, as a public holiday.

This was confirmed in a tweet by the personal assistant to the President on new media, Bashir Ahmad.

Ahmad’s tweet reads, “JUST IN: The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22 as Public Holidays to mark the 2019 Easter celebration. #HappyHolidays”
