Ekiti LG Poll: APC fixes N550,000 for nomination, interest forms for the chairmanship position

Ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Election in Ekiti State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday, September 17 commence the sale of the nomination and expression of interest (EoI) forms to all the Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants of the party in the state.

The nomination forms for chairmanship will cost each aspirant the sum of N500,000 while N50,000 will be paid for the expression of interest form, a top member of the party’s hierarch confirmed to Newsflash Nigeria.

The nomination forms for Vice Chairmanship will cost each aspirant the sum of N300,000 while N50,000 will be paid for the expression of interest form.

In Councillorship, the nomination forms will cost each aspirant the sum of N100,000 while N30,000 will be paid for the expression of interest form.

Female aspirants and people with disabilities vying for local government chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship and Councillorship will pay 50% of the prescribed fees.

The party said the sale of expression of interest forms for Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship and Councillorship for the forthcoming local government and LCDA election in Ekiti State will commence today, Friday, September 17 at the State Party Secretariat, Ajilosun, Ado-Ekiti.

ln a statement from the desk officer of the Party Committee on local government and LCDA, Mr Bamidele Fatile says the sale of expression of interest forms is to ensure proper arrangements ahead of the Council Poll scheduled for December 4.

The party said chairmanship councillorship aspirants will be screened across the 16 local government areas and 19 local council development areas of the state.
