Popular Crossdresser, Jay Boogie’s Kidneys Fail After Cosmetic Surgery, Needs Transplant

Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Daniel Anthony Nsikan, also known as Jay Boogie, is in a critical condition as both his kidneys have failed.

Newsflash Nigeria reports that a Nigerian doctor, Loveth Jennifer, a friend of the crossdresser, revealed this in an Instagram post on Friday, stating that Jay requires a kidney transplant.

The post read, “At this stage, Jay Boogie needs a kidney transplant! Both Kidneys have failed! We prayed and wished it never gets to this stage, but this is it.”

This comes after the crossdresser  criticised his doctor for conducting a poorly executed surgery that posed a serious threat to his life.

The botched surgery had resulted in his inability to urinate for almost three weeks now.

 In an Instagram statement last Friday, disclosed that he developed sepsis and acute kidney injury after undergoing liposuction and Brazillian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery in October.

Jay denied having any medical issue before the surgery, asserting that he had test results to prove it. He added that he was abandoned in another hospital by the surgeon, Dr. Chidinma Akpa, owner of Curvygirl_essentials, also known as CGE Healthcare, who refused to take responsibility for the complications.

He said, “I had Lipo 360 & BBL Surgery WITH Dr. Chidinma Akpa, owner of Curvygirl_essentials, also known as CGE Healthcare on October 30th 2023, prior to the surgery, she requested I stop my hormonal medications ( I had no other health concerns before the surgery which I have test results to back up this claim).

“I am releasing this information to the public for transparency purposes. A few hours after the surgery, she informed me that I developed sepsis and acute kidney injury. CGE Healthcare in question refused to take responsibility, and I was abandoned in another hospital after she sent a referred note. Ever since November 1st, I have been on dialysis and treatment for sepsis.”
