Ekiti Monarch Acquires New Rolls Royce, Joins 5 Others Nigerian Monarchs Using Luxury Car

One of the Traditional rulers in Ekiti State, the Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adejimi Adu Alagbado acquires New Rolls Royce Phantom

The monarch who was recently installed three years ago has joined the five other notable kings in Nigerian for the purchase of his new ride, the ride is set to be the Vogue of Nigerian top kings and lifestyle.

In a report from the king’s palace, the roll Royce was delivered to the king’s palace on Thursday which had residents of the palace clamour for joy to see the ride.

Newsflash247 gathered that the Luxury car worth about $450,000 (N165.6M) with the addition of $150,000 (N55.2M) shipping the car to Nigeria.

Oba Adejimi Adu, the first Monarch to be using the Rolls Royce Phantom in Ekiti State and named him as the six positions in notable kings in Nigeria.

1. Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan

Currently ranked the wealthiest man in Nigeria and just a bit behind King Mohammed VI of Morocco in the list of richest Kings in the continent, the estimated total net worth of the Olugbo of Ugbo in Ondo State is around $300 million (equivalent to N108 billion). This King is also running Obat Oil.

That’s why it’s totally understandable when this man threw a fortune for his luxury auto brands. In 2014, he became the first black resident to own a Bentley car model of that year. In the exchange with Daily Post, he also claimed to own a $1 million watch and he was so proud to use the same car brand as Queen Elizabeth II.

Actually, his custom-made Rolls Royce 2012 also has many similarities with the one the Queen of England is having.

2. Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi

On April 27^th, 2010, Oba Saheed Elegushi had his coronation, becoming the youngest monarch of Lagos at the age of 34. He was then the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom.

This monarch used to study Master Degree in the Manchester University and once worked as a Lagos authority, assisting Special duties field.

Unlike other Kings who may just sit on their throne, Oba Adayeye always strives to reach remote areas for timely support to his residents. The Ooni is now the owner of several foreign auto models but the most noteworthy is his Rolls Royce Phantom model year 2011.

4. Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II

It can be said that Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II is a forward-looking person who had owned Rolls Royce cars long before this brand became a big name in the auto market.

In 1956, when the Queen of England visited Nigeria, it was Kano Emirate that facilitated her trip with a Rolls Royce Wraith.

In 2016, this monarch posted pictures of newly acquired Rolls Royce Phantom 2016 on his Instagram page. However, it is just one in a few Rolls Royce he bought in the same year. This model is worth approximately $417,825 (~N150m).

5. Oba Ewuare II Ogidigan

The Oba of Benin Kingdom used to represent Nigeria to visit many countries namely Italy, Angola, Spain or Sweden.

Not only is this monarch famous for his zero-tolerant law of land-grab in his regime, but he is also well known for his extravagant auto – Rolls Royce Phantom model 2016.

This car was bought in 2016, introduced in his celebration of Thanksgiving Day in Benin city.
