Ekiti Election Tribunal Updates: Counsels Want Sittings Moved To Abuja Over Insecurity.

The Ekiti election petitions tribunal has commenced sitting amid insecurity which has forced the counsels in the matter to call for a shift in venue.

Political thugs believed to be of one of the parties in the tribunal had invaded the vicinity of the High Court complex and had attacked some people.

The Chairman and members of the tribunal had a hectic time and found it difficult to gain entry into the courts.

The Police mounted security at the entrance of the court complex but still had a lot to do in controlling the crowd, and who gains access to the venue.

Following the applications, the tribunal fixed ruling on the application for a change of venue till 1 pm.
