Dino Melaye Defects To PDP

The Embattled Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye on the platform of the All Progressives Party (APC) has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He announced his defection today on the floor of the Senate.

Melaye was involved in a face-off with the Nigeria Police Force.

Dino Melaye says the police attempted to kill him twice while he was in their custody.

The senator appeared on the floor of the Senate in a white attire on Wednesday. He had a bandage wrapped around his neck.
