Buhari not the one in office anymore – National Security Adviser reveals

The National security adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd), recently said that some strange persons have been the one preceding over matters of governance.

In the letter first published by Premium Times, the NSA warns the president’s ‘all powerful’ Chief of Staff (CoS), Abba Kyari against meddling in security affairs in the presidency.

He also warned the nation’s service chiefs to stop taking orders from Kyari and to be wary of his interference.

The letter, addressed to the service chiefs and copied to the president and ministers for foreign affairs, defence, interior, police affairs and Kyari himself, is dated December 2019.

Kyari has long been hailed as one of the most powerful men in the Buhari presidency and the head of a cabal accused of running the President Buhari administration behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has now come in the open to validate this claim and that President Muhammed Buhari has abdicated his social and public responsibility to Abba Kyari.

One important role of good governance is to ensure the Security and Welfare of her citizens.

The PDP is of the opinion that since the President Muhammadu Buhari has indirectly left these responsibilities to Abba Kyari, and then he has no right to remain in office.

However, the party has this to say that the letter written by the NSA which is in the public already reveals that the sufferings, pain, insecurity that her citizens are going through is as a result of the indirect abdication of responsibilities and crucial matters to some strange persons who now pilots the country’s affairs.

The Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, who is indirectly the one piloting the affairs of the country as revealed by Gen. Mongunu is the one preceding over sensitive matters of the Nation..

Nigerians are invited to note the verdict by the NSA, who, in support of the position of the PDP, affirmed that such situation is responsible for the failure of government to defend Nigerians and find solution to the worsened insecurity under President Buhari’s watch.

Some time ago, the First Lady had alerted Nigerians that it’s no longer her husband that is in office but a stranger taken up the responsibilities of the President, as recalled by the party.

Nigerians have now joined their voices to call out on the President to resign since he is no longer capable of handling Nation matters.
