VIDEO: Obasanjo’s House Razed By Fire In Abeokuta

On the early hours of Thursday, February 13, a building belonging to former Nigeria’s President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has been consumed by fire in Abeokuta.

Chief Obasanjo’s house, which situated at the Ita-Eko area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital was gutted fire.

It was reported that the fire, which started at about 12am midnight on Thursday, was caused by a power surge.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Director of Fire Service, Fatai Adefala, who confirmed the incident, said the fire had been put out.

He disclosed that the fire only razed a store and not the main building in the former president’s compound.
