BREAKING: Nigeria records another 16 new cases of Coronavirus, total now 254

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday night, April 7, has announced the confirmation of another 16 new cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.

NCDC made the announcement Tuesday night on its official twitter account.

With the new 16 cases, Nigeria now has 254 confirmed cases and 6 deaths of the coronavirus disease.

A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said ten of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State, two in Oyo, one in Delta, one in Kastina and two in the FCT, the country capital.

“Sixteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 10 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina

“As at 09:30 pm 7th April there are 254 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths”
