BREAKING: Nigeria records 328 new cases of Coronavirus, total now 11844

The new cases are spread across Lagos, Bauchi, Rivers, Oyo, Kaduna, Gombe, Edo, Ogun, Jigawa, Enugu, Kano, Osun and Ondo States as well as Abuja, the country’s capital.

Nigeria on Friday night, June 5, has recorded another 328 new cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and ten (10) deaths in thirteen (13) states as well as the country’s capital, Abuja, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 11844 and 333 deaths.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced on Friday night, on its official Twitter account.

The new cases are spread across Lagos, Bauchi, Rivers, Oyo, Kaduna, Gombe, Edo, Ogun, Jigawa, Enugu, Kano, Osun and Ondo States as well as Abuja, the country’s capital.

The centre also said that ten (10) deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 333.

NCDC also revealed that total numbers of 3696 patients were discharged.

According to the NCDC, “121 new cases were recorded in Lagos, 70 in the Federal Capital Territory, 25 in Bauchi, 18 in Rivers, 16 in Oyo, 15 in Kaduna, 14 in Gombe, 13 in Edo and 13 in Ogun State.

It also revealed that eight cases were recorded in Jigawa, six cases in Enugu, five in Kano and two each cases were recorded in Osun and Ondo States.

As of now, 11,844 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Nigeria, with 3,696 patients discharged and 333 deaths recorded.
