BREAKING: Nigeria Records 20 New Coronavirus Cases; 2 new deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, April 3, has announced the confirmation of another 20 new cases and 2 new deaths of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.

NCDC made the announcement Friday night on its official twitter account.

With the new 20 cases, Nigeria now has 210 confirmed cases and 4 deaths of the coronavirus disease.

A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said eleven of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State, three in the FCT, three in Edo, two in Osun and one in Ondo State.

“Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo

Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State

As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.

Twenty five have been discharged with four deaths.

For a breakdown of cases by states, currently,

Lagos has 102 cases;

Abuja- 38;    

Osun- 22;

Oyo- 8;

Akwa Ibom- 5;

Ogun –  4;

Edo – 7;

Kaduna – 4;

Bauchi – 3;

Enugu – 2;

Ekiti – 2;

 Rivers – 1;

Benue – 1;

Ondo – 1.
