BREAKING: Nigeria records 10 deaths; 238 new cases of Coronavirus, total now 2170

Nigeria on Friday night, May 1, has recorded another 238 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and ten deaths in Twenty-One (21) states and Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 2170 and 68 deaths.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made the announcement on Friday night, on its official Twitter account.

The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kano, Borno, Edo, Sokoto, Rivers, Oyo, Delta, Ondo, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Ekiti, Zamfara, Kwara, Yobe, Adamawa, Niger, Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu and Gombe states as well as Abuja, the country capital.

The centre also said that ten person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 68.
