BREAKING: Lagos council chairman, Oke dies

The chairman was said to have died from Coronavirus complications.

In the early hours of Wednesday, the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State, Babatunde Oke, has passed on from Coronavirus complications.

A source close to the family confirmed that the council chairman passed away on Wednesday morning.

The chairman was said to have died from Coronavirus complications.

Oke had been ill but suffered a relapse not long after he recovered.

The deceased was a second term council chairman and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
