#BREAKING: Hoodlums attack Gov Obaseki, Oba of Lagos at Oshiomhole’s residence

Hoodlums have reportedly attacked the convoy of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu and Chairman, Caverton Offshore Support Group, Mr. Aderemi Makanjuola.

They were driving into the Iyamho residence of the Edo former governor and currently the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole shortly after attending the first convocation ceremony of the Edo University, Iyamho.

Makanjuola was installed Chancellor of the institution at the ceremony.

Police sources said they were invited for lunch by Oshiomhole but were attacked by suspected thugs.

Meanwhile, Newsflash247 had earlier reported that Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress,APC, has escaped death on Saturday, October 13, 2019 in Benin, Edo State as unknown gunmen reportedly attacked his residence.

Oshiomhole, former governor of the state accused the ‘other camp’ that organised the attack on his home of looking for war .

The former Edo governor said the attack on his home was uncalled for but he was ready to defend his own camp. The home of Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), was attacked by suspected hoodlums late on Saturday, October 12.

The attackers reportedly besieged the house at Okorotun Street in the Government Reservation Area, Benin but were repelled by security agents and some APC youths.

This much was confirmed by Oshiomhole’s spokesperson, Simon Egbebulam. Egbebulam said Oshiomhole was not at home when the attack happened because he was at a friend’s party.

He claimed the attack was organized by the Godwin Obaseki-led state government and it was carried out by those loyal to the governor.

Oshiomhole, a two-time governor of Edo state and former chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, was furious at the incident. He says the attack on his residence is a declaration of war by the ‘other camp’.

If it comes to the ruffle ruffle that he wants, they don’t have the number,” Oshiomhole said while addressing his supporters and party loyalists.
