Nigeria on Friday night, May 15, has recorded another 288 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and 4 deaths in fourteen (14) states as well as Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 5445 and 171 deaths.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made the announcement on Friday night, on its official Twitter account.

The new cases are spread across Lagos, Jigawa, Kano, Bauchi, Kwara, Edo, Kaduna, Kastina, Niger, Ekiti, Ogun, Oyo, Borno and Delta States as well as country capital, Abuja.

The centre also said that three (4) person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 171.

On the 15th of May 2020, 288 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 5445 cases have been confirmed, 1320 cases have been discharged and 171 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.
