BREAKING: Abba Kyari Arrives Lagos in Air Ambulance

The Chief of Staff to the Nigeria’s President, Abba Kyari, on Monday afternoon, has arrived Lagos.

He was transferred from Abuja to Lagos to continue his treatment for coronavirus.

Kyari was conveyed to Nigeria’s commercial hub in an air ambulance, Daily Trust reports.

The top government official tested positive after he returned from Germany.

Nigeria currently has over 110 cases.

Meanwhile, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says it is looking for

6,000 people who have had close contact with persons infected with coronavirus.

NCDC on Sunday evening, March 29, has announced the confirmation of another 14 news cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.

NCDC made the announcement Sunday evening on its official twitter account.

With the new 14 cases, Nigeria now has 111 confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease.

A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said nine of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State and five in Abuja.

“Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos and 5 in FCT.

As at 09:30 pm 29th March there are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.

“As at 09:30 pm 29th March, there are 111 confirmed cases 1 death for a breakdown of cases by states.

  1. Currently; Lagos- 68
  2. FCT- 21
  3. Ogun- 3
  4. Enugu- 2
  5. Ekiti- 1
  6. Oyo- 7
  7. Edo- 2
  8. Bauchi- 2
  9. Osun-2
  10. Rivers-1
  11. Benue- 1
  12. Kaduna- 1.
