Boko Haram: Parents Storm Yobe School To Know Whereabouts Of Children

The Parents of the Government Girls Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe state on Thursday storm to the school to know whereabouts of their children.

The Students were attacked by Boko Haram insurgents on Monday. According to the reports,111 of the students were abducted.Most of the students and their teachers escaped to nearby communities. Some run as far as between 15- 25 kilometers.

Reports say that majority of the students have been rescued by security personnel while others are still at large.

Parents besieged the school to know the whereabouts of their children. Yobe state government has closed the school for one week to enable the students to go and meet their parents.
