APC Reps Member donates wheelbarrows to youths as constituency project

A House of Representatives member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, representing Jalingo, Yorro and Zing federal constituency of Adamawa state, Maigari Bello-Kasimu, has distributed 14 wheelbarrows to the members of truck pushers association, zing branch, as part of his constituency project in the state.

It was gathered that the lawmaker, who was represented by his PRO, Saidu Giwa Na-annabi, handed over the wheelbarrows to be beneficiaries in a very light celebration.

Speaking with newsmen, the representative of the lawmaker lamented that youth unemployment was a menace, not just in our society but the world at large.

“All of them used to hire wheelbarrow and push to earn their living, but now they have the opportunity of owning their personal wheelbarrows,” he said.

Mr Bello-Kasimu charged the beneficiaries to see the gesture as a challenge, and opportunity to grow, saying that he was also like them who suffered hard to finance his education.

He, therefore, called on the beneficiaries to use their strengths in order to harness their potentials, as he rightly said: “an idle man is devil worship”.
