JAMB: How to Pay and Print Your Original UTME Result Slip Online

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 2023 can now print their original JAMB result slip online.

The original JAMB result slip is an official document that contains the candidate’s passport photograph, choice of institution/course, and scores in each subject. It is required for admission screening and other admission matters in all Nigerian tertiary institutions.

According to a tweet by JAMB on its official Twitter page on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, candidates have to pay a token of N1,700 (about 2.19 US Dollars at the current mid-market currency rates) to print their original JAMB result slip.

The payment must be made through the candidate’s profile on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), which is the platform where candidates can check their admission status, accept or reject admission offers, and print admission letters.

JAMB also stated that once the payment is made, the original JAMB result slip can be printed anywhere in the world. Candidates do not need to visit any JAMB office or accredited centre to print their original JAMB result slip.

How to print original UTME result slip online

To print your original JAMB result slip online, follow these steps:

• Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
• Login with your email address and password
• Click on “Print Result Slip” on the left sidebar
• Click on “Continue with Payment” to make the payment of N1,700
• After a successful payment, you will be redirected to a page where you can enter your UTME registration number
• Enter your UTME registration number and click on “Print Result Slip”
• Your original JAMB result slip will be displayed on the screen
• You can download it as a PDF file or print it directly from your browser.

Note: You can only print your original JAMB result slip after the release of the UTME results by JAMB.

You can check your UTME result notification by visiting https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults and entering your registration number or email address.
