2019: Buhari, Atiku postpones presidential rallies in Kano

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has postponed his rally that was to hold on Wednesday, January 23 in Kano State.

According to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s media aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the state has “become the battleground of 2019 elections”.

Atiku reportedly moved his rally until after that of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari.

But in a dramatic twist, Buhari has also postponed his campaign.

“Seems Kano has become the battleground of 2019 presidential elections.

“Waziri @atiku was supposed to hold his rally today, but postponed it till after @MBuhari rally on 27th.

“Now PMB has also postponed his from 27th. Kano, the California of Nigerian politics. Aiki dai Kanawa,” Yakasai tweeted on Wednesday night.
