2,000 Sacked Ekiti Workers, Act Of Wickedness Against Humanity – PDP

Ekiti State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, has condemned the sack of over 2000 workers by the State Government on Wednesday, describing it as an act of wickedness against humanity.

The party posited that Kayode Fayemi led APC government has again proved to be an error in Ekiti State where civil service job remain the mainstay of majority of homes and families.

In a statement by the State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Mr Jackson Adebayo which was made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti, noted that the sack of the workers is not only an anti-people policy but an attritional politics of an irresponsible government.

PDP said that the APC government has never pretended to be an abbatrous when it comes to the welfare of the people in the states where it rules but in Ekiti State it’s believed that it would be a different because of the homogeneity but the Fayemi led government has come to actualise the norms and character of his party as being demonstrated by the sack of the workers.

According to the party, the APC Government in the state has destroyed the life of a generation who had hoped that by their employment their life and communities would benefit some level of progress and wellbeing which has now been truncated by the premeditated report midwifed in line with the party retrogressive tendencies.

PDP maintained that it’s unfortunate that APC Government has come to the state to play politics with human life not miding the shock and it’s resultant to the aftermart of their actions, adding that Ekiti people are really in the hand of those who don’t have preference to people’s welfare.

“We want people to ask the government wether those they sacked didn’t purchase their application forms and got interviewed before their employment or what other processes they didn’t pass through except the one the APC government in the state deliberately denied them.”

“It’s on record that in the first regime of this same Governor Kayode Fayemi, plans were hatched to sack teachers and some workers which was vehemently resisted before he was booted out by vote in 2014; the sack of workers now is just the beginning of the actualisation of his first term agenda, hence all Ekiti people should understand that the Armageddon government has arrived
